Goddess of Victory: Nikke found fast popularity in 2022 after it garnered focus in part due to intriguing, often questionable character designs.
It found its largest market in Japan, a place known for its RPG-related joy, and has since grossed$ 520.3 million from portable players in the country. This means Japan has contributed 58.4 % of Nikke’s mobile earnings to date.
The US follows in second at$ 155.3 million in player spending, equalling 17.4 % of Nikke’s mobile revenue. South Korea rounds out the top three markets with$ 145.7 million spent, or 16.4 %.
Goddess of Victory: Nikke’s most attractive month on mobile was soon upon its release, having made$ 105.4 million in November 2022 after its official launch. In December 2022, person investing dropped to$ 67.8 million.
That, revenue steadily decreased. Nikke generated$ 45.8 million during its first anniversary party, which was frequently a boom for gachas, which is considered its fourth best month ever.
Nikke is still one of the big names in the gacha industry despite not having made more than$ 40 million in a single month since January 2024.
Money splash
Goddess of Victory: Nikke’s most profitable time to time was even earlier on, with$ 6.3 million earned on wireless on November 12th, 2022. Fast-forward to its next year and Goddess of Victory: Nikke’s second best moment was on April 26th, 2024, the next day of the 1.5 time anniversary release.
Revenue spiked from$ 977, 000 pre-update on April 24th to$ 3.1 million on April 25th, a 217 % increase. Player spending then increased even further to$ 3.7 million on April 26th before it started to decline.
The formula has been largely repeated for the second-anniversary celebration, which included new SSR ( super special rare ) characters being added to the gacha, alts for existing characters, and a new story event.
In truth, for the next celebration, three Sequencing have been added, especially Cinderella, Grave, and Rapunzel: Pure Grace.
Cinderella was the primary enemy at the beginning of the story, but this year’s event brings those events back to mind while introducing the character in the gacha.
She was released on October 31st alongside the latest version update, triggering a 156 % revenue spike day-over-day to$ 2.4 million.
Players may also get a free enlist every day through November 28 as part of the anniversary, encouraging extended play throughout November.
