The first official teaser for the future Grand Theft Auto 6 was eventually released by Rockstar Games last December. Fans searched through the trailer endlessly, trying to get as much information out as possible, and it rapidly racked up millions of views. One fan yet, apparently, figured out an NPC’s sunblock SPF level. Weird things, but not unusual for this theory-loving fans. And then, because a moon appears in a picture, GTA superfans are persuaded that Rockstar will announce the release date on November 22.
On November 1, Rockstar Games provided an update on GTA Online‘s following major piece, which is set to arrive in December. A picture of a person gazing at a building while sitting in a car was included in the message. The sky appears in the sky above. Seem like a pretty mundane, boring picture. However, a Reddit user claimed that the sun in the screenshot was going through a waning crescent phase. After some additional research, the community decided that on November 22, something will ( probably ) happen.
What exactly are they predicting? Well, that remains to be seen, with some suggesting a new truck, another a release date news, and some a trailer for a potential video.
The full moon hypothesis emerged shortly after the tweet’s publication, but as November 22 draws nearer, it has gained more and more momentum online. At first, this was a border idea, but now it’s all Game fans can talk about at the second. This sky theory was also suggested by one well-known person who claimed the initial trailer contained a Tom Petty song from the recording” Full Moon Fever.”
The crazy part is that, unlike previous attempts, the Rockstar society has used the moon phases to make predictions for the future. Last year, viewers did the same thing, and imagine what… they ended up being straight in the end! The sun and the picture were shared by Rockstar two weeks before the first GTA 6 trailer was released, with the stage pictured on December 1. And days later, on December 1, Rockstar teased the December 5 launch meeting for the first GTA 6 video. Hmmmm.
Grand Theft Auto 6 arrives in Fall 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. And if all of this is true, the highly anticipated open-world activity may only be a few days apart from a new video.
