Ethereum’s Proof-of-Stake change is well underway and with the London difficult knife it is entering its last stage. At this point, we would like to share a few words with you to letting you know what to expect and what you might have to do in order to have a clean change, despite having been preparing for this time behind the scenes for some time.
First things first, CryptoGames is fully prepared for the merger, and we will continue to support the new compromise ring, which uses PoS. Your ETH amounts will be accessible on this ring, and you can deposit and withdraw funds from it. However, we may include a short period where no transactions are made in order to prevent any potential loss of funds, which will mean that Ethereum deposits and withdrawals will be halted during the merge. We’ll let you know about this in a later update because the time for it has n’t been set yet.
You can head over to the forum ( https ://forum.crypto.games/topic/1094/ ) where we will keep adding new information as it comes out. We currently expect the merge to happen on September 15th ( You can check an estimate yourself here: https ://coinmarketcap.com/events/eth-merge/ ), but this is still subject to change. We will keep an eye on the network conditions while the purchases will get paused a few hours before the merge. We will just start a transaction once we are sure the network conditions are secure and there is no chance for any money loss, despite our best efforts to reduce disruption to people. How long this period is we cannot anticipate still, but as usual, we will keep updating people via the usual programs, our website, forum, blog announcements and the talk.
It is possible that not all of the Ethereum system switches to the new compromise surface during the merger. In such a situation, there might be a network conflict between the new Ethereum using PoS and the outdated Ethereum using PoW, with two ( or perhaps more ) of the competing stores resulting. CryptoGames will only support the consensus layer ( the new PoS chain following the merge ) in such a scenario. Split currencies will not be distributed by us. Please remove your ETH in advance of dealings being suspended, and take charge of the painful fork and any subsequent events if you want to support a unique chain or want to access your funds all of the subsequent chains. In this way, you can ensure that you can work on any string you want.
With this, you should be ready to handle the future Ethereum system changes in full. However, if you still have questions, you may contact our assistance via ZenDesk or request in the on-site chat room.
