The eagerly awaited Ringmaster is now available in the game, and it appears as though the hero is not just a real person but also incredibly effective. Despite this, his winrate only starts to be an outlier in higher level games, so it seems that maximizing his potential is n’t necessarily trivial. We’ll examine the hero’s ability to perform so well in higher levels games and how to recreate his success today.

Ringmaster’s extremely support-focused system may contribute to his comparatively unworst performance in 3k and below activities. The hero ca n’t be played as a carry, he does n’t really work as mid and should n’t be put in the offlane role. We strongly believe that placing Ringmaster in any of the main roles is incorrect, and he excels when he is a four-legged in an aggressive position.

His laning phase is excellent for a number of reasons. The hero may boast of having a nearly complete ranged attack, good damage, and one of the game’s highest starting MS values. The biggest one is the first stats. He excels at pursuing enemies and has the freedom to pick and chose his engagements thanks to the next level.

Having a possible 180 injury nuke at degree one is even downright overwhelmed. Most Offlane champions may have a surprise or a slow duo when Tame the Beasts is first introduced, but getting there will always need some setup. Impalement Arts also offers self-setup, but we found it to be significantly less trustworthy, and this extra resource is ideal when you can ensure a connection. The bullet is trifling to dodge and painfully slow.

His most successful film, Wheel of Wonder, is a powerful teamfight power and territory denial that can drag on for a very long insult. This insult is Dispellable with a solid dispel, but Abaddon, Oracle, and Legion Commander may quickly save their teammates from harm because, unlike every other mock effect in the game, it is unlike any other mock effect. It also does n’t pierce spell immunity. But for all intents and purposes, consider it a normal, frequent AoE surprise, but a shock that can be re-applied if Strong-dispelled, provided the army keeps looking at the Wheel.

Lastly, there are Souvenirs, which are a fun addition to the soldier’s equipment. The Cushion and Tonic are self-explanatory and quite simple. The Funhouse Mirror, though, is a bit weird, because unlike most other illusion-creating abilities this one does n’t Basic Dispel you. No a big deal, just uneven, so be aware.

Itemisation-wise, there is very little room for creativity. Being a help makes Ringmaster relatively simple when it comes to selecting an item. Purchase save items, think about getting an Ether Lens for more variety on Tame the Beasts, and purchase Shard when dealing with unknown heroes.

Blink Dagger is also a possibility for degree 15, since Tame the Beasts Ringmaster’s Debuff Immunity talent makes for a good follow-up initiator. Use your spells to lock down army support groups, punch in on them, and flee in style for protection. When again, a very simple and very powerful combo.

Finally, do n’t underestimate Aura and Teamfight items like Pipe of Insight and Guardian Greaves. Depending on the balance piece, they may move in and out of meta, but Mekansm is still incredibly effective right now.

Lastly, there are qualities and we feel like they should be self-explanatory, considering how utility-based this warrior is. The warrior needs to have the most control over him. At stage 10, there is a decision because the scope of Escape Act is extremely limited. Having said that, it is not very effective of a save, based on our mind, adding more Wanting to Calm the Beasts. At least in most games, where you do n’t get to level 25 on a support, but more on that later.

Level 15 and 20 are even simple. Essentially, there is an argument to be made in favour of Impalement Arts degree 20 skill, as it is percentage-based injury. However, it only really outweighs the smooth + 300 Tame the Beasts expertise on target with 6000+ HP. Which is a chance, but very unusual. Of course, the more minute of gradual is great, but given Ringmaster’s playstyle, which ultimately revolves around jumping the enemy backline supports in the early stages of the game, there is little need for it.

We may advise against the descriptive and choosing the Escape Act skill at Level 25. Well, the cast is very limited, especially given the default talent pool at level 10, but having access to a Strong Dispel can be useful much more frequently than a huge AoE ultimate becoming a little more massive, at least in our opinion, in the later stages of the game. Having a way to press BKB and Satanic increases your chances of catching an additional target in your best, compared to having your Carry have a higher value.

In contrast to the other many soldiers who have recently been introduced to Dota, Ringmaster is not very different. Currently, the hero is very strong, but we do n’t quite see the niche the hero is filling in the vast ocean of the Dota design space.

That said, the warrior flows quite well. His game experience is enjoyable and his system is well-organized. But as a “flavour” contrast to Dota he certainly hits the mark.

What do you think about the warrior, exactly? Maybe things really special about Ringmaster is missing? Share your opinions in the comments section below!
